I guess everyone watches Prison Break, or OZ, and that’S how we build our ideologies and thinking about what prison is like. I hear now that the show ” The Orange is the new Black” paints a lovely picture of what jail and prison is like. I would beg to differ with you. The country that lives within a country is a world few not only see, but actually live to tell about. If your not up to speeed the Federal Government convicts 97% of those they prosecute.If your lucky to end up without a life sentence is pretty amazing in itself. Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to draw a case where the convict or criminal is screwed, , but that’s basically what I’m saying.
BEFORE I GO ON LET ME REMIND EVERYONE THAT INDIVIDUALS DON’T GO TO JAIL OR PRISON FOR WHAT THEY GOT CAUGHT FOR. WE GO TO JAIL AND THEN PRISON BECAUSE OF OUR LIFESTYLE.
Until most guys inside understand this they are hopeless. Actually part of why I’m writing this blog is to really show just how hopeless a majority of those incarcerated are. Will they violate and go back a few times? Yes. Is it totally their fault? NO and yes. So the Best way to reduce recidivism is to focus on the children.
If anyone has paid attention so far then they will get the real life story of a middle aged white boy that hit the FCI VIctorville Penn at 23 years old and there wasn’t any mommy or daddy to save him anymore…….This Blog is titled the road to prison.. Listen to the road I chose instead of focusing on my little girl that had just been born…………….This blog is for those that want to know the inside life. IT’s not about me at all. It really is God’s Sovereign will for my life. How do I put all my time into EKWIP and put 100% of all profits or donations towards these kids, and still breath, turn the light switch on and watch t.v.
Just so you know it wasn’t my choice. Once he told me to get out of the drivers seat things would change. This is going to be a long journey. and you will hear me pour my heart, but I hope at the end it’s the story of grace, redemption, and empowerment that GOD is doing in just the small places in the world that just happen to be America’s prison’s.
I’m sure if I had attorneys and lawyers they would advise me not to share my story for free. Problem is it isn’t my story. It’s HIS.
